"glass slides for microarray - in need of high quality suppliers"
Dear colleagues,

I have had trouble finding a high quality provider of raw glass slides for microarray production. We use slides 75mmx25mmx1mm.

We have tested several producers, but with some of them, around 95% of the slides are not usable due to either mechanical faults on surface or other problems.

Please share your experience about possible vendors.

Dear Taavi,
Quality of the glass slides is a big problem for everybody. In our lab we usually preselect them (in general we discard approximately 60% of them). We are using Erie Scientific slides. If budget is not a problem - Erie Scientific also has very good precleaned and prepolished slides.
You can also rely on Telechem coated slides.
Hope it helps

Hi, I am using Erie scientific slides (polysine) and i am having some problems with background. Could you tell me which criteria are you using to descart them? Are you using polysine slides too?
Thanks for your help.
Eliana
