moonlito Oct-09-02, 05:57 AM (PDT) "How can I delay vacuum time with DMC1730 or Gridder?" Our lab has GeneMachines OmniGrid. Vacuum pump is turned on before the pins arrive into the dry station. I would like to turn the vacuum pump on AFTER the pins arrive into the dry station. But there is no optin in Gridder software which came with the GeneMachines. I think It maybe possible to do this with DMC 1730 terminal, but I don't know how to do that. Should I use a physical relay to delay vacuum time? Please, help me. Thank you. George Mason University.
