Venus Oct-25-00, 03:31 PM (PDT) "right slide?" Hi all, I wonder if I can print single stranded oligonucleotides of about 25 bases on Telechem super amine, or Corning CMT- slides. Todd Martinsky Oct-25-00, 06:41 PM (PDT) 1. "RE: right slide?" Using an Aldehyde type slide or substrate (SuperAldehyde) would be more effective. If you have a c6 amino modifed linker on your 25 mer this will attach the aldehyde surface through a schiff's base covalent bond. I can offer you different chip surfaces, which have been activated with a novel chemisty for the highly efficient immobilization of aminomodified oligomers. Depending on the activation, the oligomers are covalently attached either to a linear linker (=> LLslides) or to a three dimensional polymeric surface (=> ISPDslides). I also plan to print amino-terminated 15-20-mers. I only tried sylilated slides for arrayit, but I'd like to test others as well.
