The raw data will be reviewed by the PAN Biotechnology Facility for quality and then transfered to the workstation in B050C, Beckman Center, Stanford University. The workstation has a CD drive, a 3.5'' floppy drive, and network connection. Users can use the Genechip software in the workstation to do further analysis of their data. Each research group will get its own user name and password in the workstation. Upon log-on, users can access all software and work on their own data. Users can only access and edit their own data and will be responsible for their files. The original data is copied to CD as your permanent record. The .DAT file can be saved in .TIF format for Photoshop and the .CHP file can be saved in .TXT format for MS Office. Users can save their data in either format and use them without the Genechip program on their own computers. The Genechip software requires OFFICE 97 (WORD, EXCEL, and ACCESS) for the further data analysis. It is highly recommeded that users become familiar with Microsoft ACCESS prior to submitting their samples. Home | FAQs | | Prices | Contact Us | Publications | Feedback |
