These pages describe how to install PC-Leland and PC-Samson and configure PC-Leland, PC-Samson, and PC-Eudora for Kerberized connections.

1.
Get a Leland Account
Most CMGM users have Leland accounts (this is also called a SUNet ID). To sign up for a Leland account or to get information about your Leland account follow the link here.

2.
Get PC-Samson and PC-Leland
PC-Samson is Stanford's own Kerberized telnet client (for logging in to CMGM, using PINE, ELM, or other telnet applications). PC-Leland is a Stanford-specific program to Kerberize password connections. Instructions to download and install these programs are located here.

3.
Configure PC-Samson to use Kerberos with your CMGM account
PC-Samson automatically uses Kerberos for Leland (elaine.stanford.edu) telnet and email sessions. Find out how to automatically initiate Kerberos sessions in CMGM.

4.
Configure Eudora for Kerberized Sessions
Directions for configuring PC-Eudora for Kerberized sessions. You need to configure CMGM for kerberos use (step 3) if you plan on reading CMGM email from Eudora.
