These pages describe how to connect your Windows-based computer to the SUNet network from an on-campus location using ethernet. You need an ethernet card and Windows software installed in your computer. Please follow these instructions in order.

1.
Install the Windows Ethernet drives and TCP/IP Protocols
If you have ever used your PC to connect to a network on campus, you probably already have this software installed on your computer. Otherwise, select these to learn more about installing TCP ethernet for Windows 95/98 or Windows NT 4.0.

Connect your Computer to the Network

Register your computer for DHCP
Once your computer is cabled, you must register to browse the network. Choose one of these selections:
